Dean Memorial Wayside Park is a 3.29-acre special use park and recreation area located off of Highway 101 North. This property was acquired by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and transferred to the city for use as open space. It is located within the floodway. Current facilities include a food cart, a memorial plaque, a short walking path, picnic tables, non-designated off-street parking, a large grassy field and a large wooded/wetlands area.
