The City of Tillamook began working on a Parks and Recreation Master Plan in 2012 and completed the plan in August of 2013. Many hours of work were put into this Master Plan by the City Council, the Planning Commission, numerous volunteers, the City Planner and other City Staff.
The City Parks and Recreation Master Plan is a ten year guide for the city to develop appropriate park & recreation facilities in the city. The Plan incorporates the community’s vision while remaining consistent with state, regional & local plans and standards. The Plan was developed through a process that identified park and recreation needs, then developed and analyzed potential projects and financing that addresses those needs.
