Street Closure—Spruce Street

NOTICE is hereby given that the Tillamook City Council will consider the closure of Spruce Street where it meets Alder Lane at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Consideration is being given as part of the “Safe Route to Schools” project—an effort to provide safe walking routes for kids on the way to and from East Elementary School and Tillamook Junior High.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public testimony regarding the proposed closure. The “Safe Route to Schools” project plan is available by clicking this link:
Citizens are encouraged to provide written testimony on this matter by 4:00 p.m. on the date of Tuesday, January 16, 2018 by delivering it to the office of Tillamook City Recorder, 210 Laurel Avenue, Tillamook, OR 97141. Written testimony will become part of the hearing record. Citizens are encouraged to attend the meeting and offer verbal testimony as well.
